Captains Steve and Gary Richardson have over 30 years experience fishing the Atlantic and Gulf waters. Steve has fished tournaments from New Jersey to Florida, the Bahamas, St. Thomas, Mexico, Venezuela, Costa Rica, and Panama. This year we will be fishing the open waters off Cape Hatteras, NC from March to June on the the CANYON EXPRESS. The CANYON EXPRESS is a 2006 57 foot Bayliss boat. We have a great offshore full day rate at $1775 (price may vary depending on fuel costs). We also offer a discount at the Breakwater Inn motel which is located right next to Oden’s Dock. Never been offshore fishing? No worries, Steve or gary can guide you through the whole deal from the hook-up to landing that lifetime dream. He can even give you tips on cooking up your catch - just ask.

diesels. At an average cruising speed of 27 knots she'll get you to the
fishing grounds quick and comfortably. The spacious salon boasts
air-conditioning or heat for those fishing days that range from the 90's
to the 20's. For those early morning runs and after a long day of cranking
fish, you'll find a bunk forward to crash on as well. Backlash carries
tournament quality tackle ranging from light spinning tackle to the 80's
that are a must for the big tunas. In the cockpit stands a Murray Bros.
Fighting Chair, ready to give you the right level of comfort and ease for
those big 'uns. Capt. Steve operates state of the art electronics up on
the bridge including radar, two bottom sounder, two VHF radios, two
GPS/Plotter's and a long range Single Sideband Radio.
